TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies that apply when you engage Rachel Caborn (“I”, “me”, or “my”) to provide copywriting, email marketing strategy, or tech setup services.

By purchasing a service, booking a session, or otherwise engaging my work through this website or other channels, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Services Covered

These terms apply to all services, including but not limited to:

  • Email strategy sessions

  • Done-for-you launch email copy

  • Nurture or welcome sequences

  • Email tech setup and integration

  • Ongoing consulting and support

Any specific deliverables and timelines will be confirmed separately in writing (usually via email or contract).

2. Payment Terms

All payments are processed via Stripe in USD unless otherwise agreed.

Pay-in-full and payment plan options are available as agreed.

By choosing a payment plan, you agree that:

  • Your card will be securely stored by Stripe for future charges.

  • Future instalments will be automatically charged on the dates agreed at checkout.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.

Late or failed payments may result in access being revoked or additional admin fees being applied.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the custom and digital nature of services, all sales are final.

Refunds are only issued in cases where:

  • Work has not yet commenced and a cancellation is requested within 48 hours of purchase.

  • I am unable to deliver the service due to unforeseen personal circumstances.

If work has started, no refunds will be given. In some cases, a partial refund may be offered at my discretion based on work completed to date.

4. Client Responsibilities

To complete your project effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide all required materials (e.g., access links, brand info, intake forms) promptly.

  • Review and give feedback on drafts or deliverables within the agreed timeframe (usually 5–7 business days).

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully.

Delays in communication or submission of required information may delay your project and impact delivery dates.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Copyright is retained by me until full payment has been received.

  • Once paid in full, you may use the work for your own marketing, emails, or business use.

  • I reserve the right to reference projects in my portfolio, share non-confidential excerpts or outcomes, and quote your feedback (lightly edited if needed).

No sensitive information or login details will ever be shared publicly.

6. Tech + Platform Limitations

I am not responsible for:

  • Issues caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Flodesk, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Zapier, Stripe).

  • Email delivery problems due to external tech (e.g., DNS settings, spam filters).

  • Bugs, updates, or outages from tools I do not control.

I always do my best to troubleshoot and support where possible, but I cannot guarantee outcomes based on tech you use.

7. Legal Stuff

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
